An indication is a term used for the list of condition or symptom or illness for which the medicine is prescribed or used by the patient. For example, acetaminophen or paracetamol is used for fever by the patient, or the doctor prescribes it for a headache or body pains

(injection): Short-term treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible strains of microorganisms, especially gram-negative bacteria; adjunct to systemic Gentamicin (Dipolac G) in serious CNS infections;(ophthalmic): treatment of superficial ocular infections; (topical): treatment of primary (eg, impetigo contagiosa) and secondary (eg, infectious eczemafoid dermatitis) skin infections; skin cysts and superficial skin infections, infection prophylaxis, and aid to healing.

DIPOLAC G DESCRIPTION

Each gram of cream contains Betamethasone (Dipolac G) dipropionate 0.64 mg Clotrimazole (Dipolac G) 10 mg and Gentamicin (Dipolac G) sulfate 1 mg.

DIPOLAC G DOSAGE

Apply suitable amount of Dipolac G to the affected area as a thin film from one to several times daily.

DIPOLAC G INTERACTIONS

Amphotericin, cephalosporin, erythromycin, heparin, penicillin, Na bicarbonate & sulfadiazine. Sulfafurazole, sulfacetamide, acetylcysteine, chloramphenicol, actinomycin D, doxorubicin, clindamycin, Ca, Mg.

DIPOLAC G SIDE EFFECTS

Continuous application without interruption may result in local atrophy of the skin, striae and superficial vascular dilation. Rarely, patients may experience local mild burning or irritation.

Topical use of Gentamicin (Dipolac G) may cause ototoxicity and/or nephrotoxicity when Dipolac G is applied to large burned areas or for extended periods of time, especially in patients with renal insufficiency or when administered concurrently with other drugs that are potentially ototoxic or nephrotoxic.

DIPOLAC G CONTRAINDICATIONS

 

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of Dipolac G.

Tuberculosis and most viral lesion of the skin, particularly herpes simplex, vaccinia and varicella.
